Silas grew up in Utah where he was introduced to the outdoors at an early age and quickly developed a love for the mountains and the adventures that come with exploring them. Growing up skiing and climbing extensively in the Wasatch and Teton ranges, he developed a deep appreciation for wild terrain and human-powered travel in the alpine. A passionate backcountry skier and climber, he finds joy in the quiet, connection, and sense of peace that comes with moving through the mountains.

Drawn to the Wallowas since 2022, Silas has spent the past three seasons exploring and guiding in their rugged terrain. He’s continually inspired by their beauty and sense of calm they offer. He is passionate about sharing the freedom and connection that the mountains bring, helping others find confidence and appreciation in the outdoors.
