Sarah began her ski guiding career here in the Wallowas 5 winters ago and is currently an AMGA Apprentice Ski Guide. She is also a new member to the Wallowa Avalanche Center forecast team as well as an AIARE Instructor. Sarah is a member of both the American Avalanche Association and the Canadian Avalanche Association, and holds a masters degree in Atmospheric Science, which occasionally comes in handy when reading snow forecasts. During the summer months Sarah works in aviation for the United States Forest Service.
