Natalie Flower

Natalie loves being in the mountains in the winter, especially when on a snowboard. She began her mountain love affair working on mount hood teaching skiing and snowboarding 15 years ago. In 2018 she serendipitously fell into a splitboard guiding position in Japan. After spending 4 winters there she came to work in her home range, the Wallowas and has been guiding in these mountains for 4 years working for the Wallowa Alpine Huts. She has her operations level 1 through the Canadian Avalanche Association and her Professional Level 2 through the American Avalanche Institute. Natalie is an AIARE instructor and teaches courses for the wallowa avalanche center. The non snow times keeps Natalie in the mountains working in forestry with her husband, taking care of her young son, riding her bikes, or most likely struggling through home projects on her homestead outside of Joseph Oregon.
